Horse Transport Service

Brian offers a fully insured Defra Approved service with the benefit of many years horse transportation experience, using our two purpose built vehicles:   For one or two horses: A 2 horse vehicle with statistically proven more comfortable rear facing travel. This box is fully kitted out for your horse’s safety and comfort and is ideal for shorter trips, or trips of any distance for a single horse.  Having a low ramp, this box is ideal for reluctant loaders and our veterinary support work.         For up to four horses: A four horse lorry with live in area and spacious cab, ideal for transporting a number of horses.  Why not share the cost of attending an equestrian event and book us for your own horse and your friend’s horses too!   Both vehicles have the advantage of Close Circuit Camera systems allowing all travelling equines to be viewed from the cab, meaning any problems can be quickly spotted and attended to. Brian is a slow and cautious driver who has a real sense of the impact his manoeuvres have on the horses he is transporting, meaning your precious cargo enjoys as comfortable a ride as possible.  And with GPS Satellite Navigation on board, we wont get lost either!   If you would like a quote for your future horse transportation needs, please call Brian on 01392 832466 or email him at brian@willhayesequestrian.co.uk    Useful Tips for Transporting your Horse All equines travelling in the UK must be accompanied by their Horse Passport, this is the law, and we will be unable to allow your horse on board without it! We have experience with horses who finding loading difficult, and will help you to achieve a stress free ascent for your horse into one of our boxes if required.  However, we have found patience is the key to successful loading, and additional time should be factored into your travel plans if you think it may be an issue We are happy to transport your horse without you accompanying him or her, however if you would like a pick up and drop off service, it helps us to know a little bit about your horse and any health concerns which may arise before the journey has begun Willhayes Horse Transport is an Approved Veterinary Support vehicle service and may be called upon to attend emergency situations.
